Vast swathes of the U.S. countryside are emptying and communities becoming ghost towns as rural America now only accounts for just 16 per cent of the population.
The 2010 census results suggest that by 2050 many of these areas could shrink to virtually nothing as businesses collapse and schools close.
This dramatic population implosion is the culmination of a century of migration to cities, as in 1910 the share of rural America was at 72 per cent.
Overall the share of people in rural areas over the past decade fell to 16 percent, passing the previous low of 20 percent in 2000, and is expected to drop further because of the economic crisis.
But in contrast American cities are booming and will continue to swallow suburban communities, producing a virtual mega-city stretching through Boston, Massachusetts, through New York City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Baltimore, Maryland and ending in the capital Washington, D.C.

Yet here is Greenpeace, launching a campaign of vilification against a company which is doing nothing more harmful than looking after the interests of its business model and – as companies are legally obliged to do – its shareholders.
But the most seriously, nauseatingly objectionable part of it is the way – yet again – it has chosen to drag children into its propaganda campaign. Greenpeace has form in this regard…

A Facebook spokesman told CNET then that: “We are monitoring these groups and if the discussion among members degrades to the point of promoting hate or violence, despite whatever disclaimer the group description provides, we will take them down. Earlier this year, Facebook agreed to remove a page that called on Palestinians to take up arms against Israel, after the Israeli government appealed to Facebook.

In March 2006, a modest Afghan citizen named Abdul Rahman made global headlines with an unpleasant story. The poor man was on the verge of execution for the “crime” of converting from Islam to Christianity. His prosecutors, who called him a “microbe,” were pretty straightforward in their indictment: “He should be cut off and removed from the rest of Muslim society, and should be killed.” The court, which did not hesitate to agree, gave Abdul Rahman three days to rethink and recant. If he still insisted on apostasy, he would be sentenced to a public hanging.
Miraculously, Abdul Rahman survived. Under heavy pressure from foreign governments, the court returned his case to prosecutors, citing “investigative gaps.” Meanwhile, he was released from prison and escaped to Italy, where he was granted asylum.
This infamous story, however, was just the tip of an iceberg. As noted in a 2008 report by a Christian human-rights organization, “Apostates from Islam to another religion suffer a host of serious abuses from their families, communities and nations.” These renegade Muslims may well face the death penalty in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Sudan, and other forms of oppression in many other Muslim societies.
The reason for this systemic violation of religious freedom is, unfortunately, religious. Most classical schools of sharia law consider apostasy from Islam a crime punishable by death. A hadith attributed to the Prophet Muhammad is quite clear on this: “If somebody [among Muslims] discards his religion, kill him.” The implication is that Islam is a religion with free entry but no free exit.

The problem with political correctness is not only that it prevents a lot of home truths from being spoken. Which it does. But it also causes resentment of your fellow humans in the ‘protected’ groups…which is only allowed to vent through the approved far-right outlet. Perhaps my words are not adequate, but my understanding through experience, is.

You just have to watch any of the cop-worshipping TV shows these days to know what is coming. Just happened to see a little of one today, as the checkerboard gang get a hard on about using their big red ‘key’, which they named something daft like The Excalibur or…maybe not that, but something similar starting with an E and I can’t recall what exactly. Of course ‘key’ is their euphemism for a battering ram. So they’re getting all ready to beat down some poor slob’s door at an unknown hour, and they of course ‘have’ to do it quickly (no-knock) because the ‘suspect’ may hide ‘drug evidence’. So they bust in on aforermentioned poor slob and take down this dangerous perp. Some (‘illegal’) drugs are recovered. Well it’s a dangerous job but someone very very brave has got to do it. The public can sleep safely in their beds tonight knowing someone is not intoxicated next door…ya know, unless they have alcohol or a prescription drug.
But cmon folks. Who is really committing the crimes here? The real crimes, against natural law? Sovereignty? Property rights? If drugs and guns were (re-) legalised then half of the problems with gangs would evaporate overnight, as they did when America legalised alcohol. I’m not bothered if they bust down his door (btw damaging property – real crime) to find him sat on the toilet with fifty herion needles in his face (drug abuse – fake crime). The man is not a criminal, just a violater of stupid unenforceable laws (that protect “Dope Inc”‘s business monopoly). No victim, no crime. Well I would contend that all drug abusers are victims in a way, but they made their foolish choice and no amount of arrests will change that. (Obviously I do think it should be illegal to sell drugs to kids, as it is right now btw with alcohol.)
Anyway I get sidetracked easily. Point is, it sickens me how far TV propagandists will go out of their way to make the police look like brave innocent angels, courageously taking down unarmed perps with their bare hands and maybe a dog or taser or helicopter. And I’m not saying that there aren’t some real scum who police deal with, because that is true. However, weigh danger of small time crooks against danger of police/nanny state sucking the soul out of society. No contest.
Oh and re-legalise firearms and citizen defence just for good measure, if you are really concerned about the threat of crime, and not just about preserving the checkerboard/masonic status quo. When guns are banned, criminals are secure in the knowledge they have a disarmed victim – and indeed, so are criminals in uniform who happen to be “just following orders” by busting someone’s door down military style. Right?
You wonder whether locking down Iraq was partly to prepare our heroic warriors (pawns of foreign policy as The Big K said) for the equally dangerous task of locking down UK, USA etc. Don’t you?
According to a recent report in the Malawi Voice, at least 131 Malawian children were vaccinated this week at gunpoint after having previously fled the country with their parents to avoid the mandatory jabs.
Reports indicate that a number of children and their parents belonging to Zion and Atumwi Churches fled the southeast African country of Malawi to neighboring Mozambique a few months ago in order to avoid a measles vaccine campaign.
Upon recently returning, officials apparently learned of the unvaccinated children’s whereabouts and, with the help of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation allies, forcibly injected them at gunpoint with the vaccines.
“We were alerted that some children who were hiding in Mozambique were back in the country and we asked police to escort the health officials in order to vaccinate them, and we have managed to vaccinate about 131 children,” said Dr. Medison Matchaya, District Health Officer in Nsanje, Malawi, to the Malawi Voice.
The faith and personal beliefs of the children and their parents obviously convinced them that the vaccines were not a good idea — and as individual human beings, they have every human right to deny any form of forced “medicine” that violates their convictions or risks putting their health at serious risk — which is why they were willing to flee in the first place.
But thanks to programs launched and promoted by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, these and many other Africans no longer have a choice but to accept forced vaccinations or face being murdered by police.
