shown to suppress the metabolic rate, apparently by creating hypothyroidism. In
following years, scientists looked for the mechanism that caused this effect and
found that unsaturated fats damage mitochondria through oxidation and enzyme
suppression. The more unsaturated a vegetable oil is, the more specifically it
suppresses tissue response to thyroid hormones. Unsaturated fats are derived
from the seeds of plants, and seeds contain toxins and enzyme suppressors that
block protein digestive enzymes in the stomachs of mammals. These chemicals
evolved to protect seeds from predators and prevent germination until conditions
are optimal for sprouting. It’s probably no coincidence that millions of people
who eat thyroid-damaging toxins and enzyme suppressors have an epidemic of
obesity, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, immune system disorders, arthritis,
and other chronic diseases.
But wait a minute. If polyunsaturated fats
are bad for us, why does everyone believe that coconut oil and other saturated
fats are harmful to health and polyunsaturated fats are beneficial? How did that
happen?…”
Be careful reading the first paragraph of the full article, it goes on to say it is all wrong. Article goes on to blast the myths about cholesterol etc, worth a read for those interested in not getting biochemically shafted by TPTB.
Food Pyramid similar to govt one - this is from an organicy vegetariany site - I disagree. The point is (IMO, naturally) the fat myths are pervasive enough to deceive even these health fanatics.
Look at the things that get all the flak from the corporate/foundation groups. Saturated fat and salt. And smoking, but as I have said before I think that’s just because dead smokers don’t leave them with clean organs to harvest and sell. Meanwhile not a peep about refined sugar, deficiency in vitamin D among others (even though in the UK rickets has returned), and barely mentioning white flour but only once a lot of people know.

Two Dangerous “Experts” You Should Never EVER Believe…
American prosecutors are attempting to extradite a Danish scientist.
Poul Thorsen has been charged with 13 counts of wire fraud and nine counts of money laundering; a federal grand jury alleges that Thorsen stole over $1 million from autism research funding between February 2004 and June 2008.
Thorsen is said to have used the proceeds to buy a home in Atlanta, two cars and a Harley Davidson. He is said to have stolen the money while serving as the ‘principal investigator’ for a program that studied the relationship between autism and exposure to vaccines.
The Copenhagen Post reports:

You got that? Where is the outrage from the “scientific” community on all this? This quack science TSA testing is so atrociously and inexcusably bad that if this fabricated evidence were presented at any sort of scientific meeting, they would be laughed off the stage and publicly vilified in the media. And yet, somehow, when the TSA engaged in this sort of quack science, virtually the entire scientific community says nothing. Only a small group of especially courageous scientists has stood up to this obvious quackery, and even these professors are of course being blasted in the press and called un-American for merely questioning the obviously flimsy evidence being laughably fronted by the TSA.
I mean, seriously: Can you imagine the total outcry if an herbal product company claimed that its products cured cancer, and it did all the testing itself, and all the names of the researchers were kept secret, and the methodology was a secret, and the whole document was 50% redacted to protect “proprietary information?” They would actually be arrested by the federal government for running a criminal scam! So why can the TSA get away with the exact same scandalous junk science distortions and virtually no one in the mainstream media asks a single question?”

Armed British police to patrol Dublin streets for Queen’s visit
The Government is allowing up to 120 armed British police officers to patrol
the streets of Irish cities to protect Queen Elizabeth II on her State visit to
Ireland this week.
Amid growing security fears, a huge force of the Metropolitan Police’s
royalty protection force carrying Glock pistols and Heckler & Koch
submachine guns will join gardaí in ensuring her safety.
They will be allowed to patrol the streets fully armed wherever Queen
Elizabeth goes on her four-day visit, which has sparked the biggest security
operation in the history of the State.
While security sources in Dublin and London played down reports that
Republican terrorists had been trying to buy rocket-launchers ahead of the
visit, the operation to prevent an attack was this weekend starting to crank up.

A Royal pain in the neck…
Is it just me or is anyone else a bit uneasy about the Queen of England’s visit to Ireland next week?
I am sick to the teeth listening to people laud the Queen’s visit as a sign of how relations between the two countries have improved. Even Gerry Adams, the President of Sinn Fein, said yesterday that the royal visit is a ‘unique opportunity’ for Ireland and Britain to build a new relationship based on equality and mutual respect. Really? Is that even possible?
It’s obviously important for governments to try and build relationships with one another but what’s the point in Enda Kenny snuggling up to a woman who, after all, is nothing more than a figurehead.
The word democracy and the English Royal Family do not and will never go hand in hand. They claim to be representative of the people of England yet it cost the English taxpayer £20m to pay for the police operation during the recent royal wedding. The last wedding I was at there wasn’t a police officer in sight and the closest we got to riding down the Mall was riding home in a taxi to Derry in the wee small hours.
My main bone of contention with the Queen’s visit is the GAA’s decision to welcome her to Croke Park.
When Lansdowne Road was being rebuilt GAA hardliners were up in arms at the suggestion that soccer was to be played at their sacred venue. Protestors made their voice heard by standing outside the north Dublin venue with placards that read ‘No to foreign games’.
Fast forward a few years and I thought that the level of protest witnessed when the Republic of Ireland played at Croke Park would be surpassed by what would happen when it was announced that the Queen and her less-than-amusing husband Prince Philip were to enjoy a guided tour of the home of the GAA.
Politicians on both sides of the divide are telling us that the Queen’s visit is a symbol of just how far both Ireland and England have come. Be that as it may, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the people of Ireland have to forget what the British forces did in Croke Park in 1920.
The Queen’s grandfather, George V, sat on the English throne the day his forces entered Croke Park during a game between Dublin and Tipperary and murdered 14 Irish men, women and children.
If what happened in Dublin in 1920 is not enough to question the Queen’s visit to Ireland then why not consider the fact that the Queen herself decorated Colonel Wilford (the man in charge of 1st Parachute Regiment in Derry on Bloody Sunday) after his troops murdered 13 innocent civilians on the streets of Derry on January 30, 1972.
The Royal family are also inherently anti-Catholic. If Kate Middleton had been Catholic it would have meant that she could never become Queen of England simply because of her religion.
So, a predominantly Catholic country has invited the reigning English monarch to Ireland. The Irish government and all the hangers on will parade around Dublin and Cork like nothing has ever happened whilst those of us who are against the visit are made to feel that we are saying is inflammatory and insensitive.
There’s very little anyone against the visit can do except register their unease at the visit but I think the people of Derry can rest easy because the chances of the Queen getting a guided tour of the Brandywell are slim and and none – and slim just left town!

A few things I would like to add/amend.
1. People always talk about this UK/Ireland thing like it’s in the past. Oh nonon0oooooo you’ve got it all wrong. It’s the same bunch of inbred psychos sitting on top of the central banks today, as two or four hundred years ago. The war on Ireland and other nations like Russia and Germany and America will persist indefinitely.
2. The royals aren’t anti-Catholic. They’re Antichrist.
3. Maybe a good time anyone who still feels all woozy for the pwecious royals just takes another look at the so-called “potato famine” which was anything, anything but an “accident” or “natural disaster”. It was absolutely deliberate that Brith’ish vessels took all the food other than the blighted potatoes, out of Ireland, and continued to do so throughout the famine, while over a million people starved. They tried to do the same thing in parts of Scotland (note the exports of grain), but effectively failed.
You can’t hide genocide, although let’s face it the royals have come as close as anyone ever has to doing so. Only the Commies were close (at least in modern times), in terms of ability to rewrite their heinous crimes out of the public history.
