In fact, that 1% includes some of the smartest, most innovative people in the country – the people who invent, market, and distribute material blessings to the whole population. They also own the capital that sustains productivity and growth.
But there is another 1% out there, those who do live parasitically off the population and exploit the 99%. Moreover, there is a long intellectual tradition, dating back to the late middle ages that draws attention to the strange reality that a tiny minority lives off the productive labor of the overwhelming majority.
I’m speaking of the State, which even today is made up of a tiny sliver of the population, but is the direct cause of all the impoverishing wars, inflation, taxes, regimentation, and social conflict. This 1% is the direct cause of the violence, the censorship, the unemployment, and vast amounts of poverty, too.”
The one thing I would add to what he says is that, due to the corruption of our present form of ‘governance’ (rule by criminal banking thugs), there is a huge correlation between being connected with the system, and being rich. But it’s true that some people who are rich, even today, got where they are fair and square. A minority, admittedly. It’s not inherently evil to be rich, it’s a question of how you got there and, usually, who you screwed over on the way. I oppose any forced redistribution of wealth except where that wealth was provably gained by force and fraud, such as the amount of land held by the monarchy in this country (held ever since the Norman conquerors stole it 900 years ago), that could be of much greater use if distributed as homestead land as an alternative to the current welfare system.

Without the ‘humanitarian’ intervention of the US, Britain and France, Gaddafi would be still be in Tripoli but thousands people now dead would be alive. The buildings and the infrastructure that has been destroyed would still be standing. Libya would still be the most advanced country in Africa, instead of a country that has been battered by war and will now need repairing in accordance with the prescriptions of ‘disaster capitalism’.
As an investment this war was not even a risky one. Libya is a large country with a relatively small population and almost no capacity to defend itself against outside attack by powerful states. It is rich in oil, foreign reserves and gold bullion. Would the attack even have been considered if it were poor? Its financial situation was far healthier than that of the countries attacking it. The notion that this was done for altruistic reasons has to be scotched immediately. Whatever the humanitarian packaging, ulterior motives lie behind every war launched by the western powers in the Middle East and North Africa over the last two centuries. The war on Libya is no exception. At a time of extreme financial crisis, the attacking countries are not sinking billions of dollars into the war without expecting a generous strategic and commercial return on their investment.
In all the weeks Sirte was being devastated from the air, where was the UN Security Council, which opened the door to the attack on Libya with its ‘no fly’ zone resolution but has taken no responsibility for the consequences? Where was the EU, where was the OIC, where was the Arab League, where was the outrage in the media, where were all the governments upholding a ‘responsibility to protect’ which had turned into a license to kill? They were all mute. Not a word of concern or even of condemnation passed their lips. They only wanted to talk about Syria. The pictures of destruction now coming out of Sirte give some indication of what Britain, France and the US have done. How many civilians have been killed we don’t know, but the estimates being made for the country as a whole suggest a death toll running into the tens of thousands. Such is the cost of ‘humanitarian intervention’. Such is the price the Libyans have had to pay for their own ‘liberation’. They did not want this war. It was the governments of the US, Britain and France who wanted this war, for reasons of their own, and used the rising in Benghazi as their leverage.
A country which was stable is now in turmoil. The news agencies refer to the government in Tripoli but there is no government in Tripoli. The ‘National Transitional Council’ has still not got its act together. Uncertainty, turbulence and possibly a spreading war of resistance lie ahead, as the implications of what has been done sink in. History is written by the victors, so we are told, but if this western triumph over yet another Middle Eastern madman cannot be consolidated, the day may yet come when Libyans will be building statues to commemorate the bravery of the small band of men who fought to the last for Sirte.
Rebels think they’ve won. (of course, we can trust the Telegraph to be an impartial source in London…does anyone remember how active the Telegraph’s Twitter feed was with alleged “Libyans”, many of whom were openly not even in Libya but in this country, calling for the overthrow of Gaddafi from day one of the uprising?)
Frankly, even if they have won, it’s a Pyrrhic victory. Call me a cynic but I doubt that the Greens will fight on without Gaddafi, who is out of the picture one way or another, dead or alive. This is a total mess, the rebels will turn on each other and there will probably be a civil war. Or a race war. All this in a country that was the most prosperous in Africa under Gaddafi; whatever his crimes over the years, they are not comparable to the crimes of NATO, which is opressing and killing Serbs, Afghans, Pakistanis and Libyans as we speak.

Frankly, even if he had a double or reached some kind of exit agreement, that is irrelevant – on a functional level, Gaddafi is out one way or the other. (“When we pretend that we’re dead” is the unwanted, inappropriate musical theme for this post.) I do think he was probably killed. This is quite a blow to the free Libyans fighting the NATO ‘rebel’ occupation. Gaddafi was by no means innocent but due to his egomania he actually did a lot of good things for his people and didn’t want to sell them out to NATO-UN or Chicom imperialism like most 3W leaders. It looked like the ‘Greens’ were going to send the rebels back where they came from; whether or not they will fight on without Mo remains to be seen. What a criminal, murderous, bloodthirsty piece of anglozionist foreign policy this has been. Gaddafi was not behind Lockerbie, the CIA paid witnesses to falsely testify against him. The real terrorists are the al-qaeda and NATO thugs trying to take over Libya.

“Unfortunately, Britain’s role as a breeding ground for suicide bombers has been on display for some time, beginning with famed Shoe Bomber, Richard Reid. Reid, who converted to Islam in the mid-1990s, was sentenced to life without parole in a US prison for trying to kill 197 people on board an American Airlines flight from Paris to Miami in December 2001.
For Reid, his journey of Islamic radicalization was nurtured in the mosques of London. However, other Muslim suicide zealots have received their martyrdom inspiration in the increasingly fertile grounds of Britain’s schools of higher education.
In June 2011, a British government report cited 40 English universities at increased risk for the Islamist radicalization and terrorist recruitment of their Muslim students by hard line Islamic groups. To that end, the report noted that 45 percent of the people in Britain who have been convicted of “al-Qaeda-associated terror offenses” have been graduates or attendees of British universities.
Unhappily, those British schools have either been too slow to respond to the growing Islamist threat or have turned a blind eye. Yet, as one British security expert said, these schools “have got to realize that you don’t get suicide bombers unless they have first been radicalized.”
For example, Nigerian-born “Underwear Bomber” Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, who recently pled guilty to a failed suicide airline bombing in Detroit in 2009, is believed to have been inspired to martyrdom during his time studying at University College London, where he was president of the school’s Islamic Society.”

Of course this is all an accident and completely unintentional. Hey, consider this. If it is true that we are fighting wars in various middle eastern countries, to stop them from being “safe havens for terrorists”, then how on earth can that statement coexist with the report above? How’s the cognitive dissonance doing, neocons? Itching a little? Hungry for the truth yet? We can wait I guess, but for how long? You know there’s something wrong.
Let me suggest the rather obvious alternative, that ‘islamic extremism’ is politically useful to England and the Anglo-American establishment and Israel. This is why it’s funny that certain rightwing talk show people are now saying the NWO is Islamic.
Even if it were true that Muslims wake up each morning wanting to conquer the world, they are too inbred and poor to be much of a threat. All those Muslim bankers and Muslims in the US government and Muslims running the IMF and UN. Er…no. Yes they had a slave trade for far longer than the Europeans did, yes they are capable of real brutality mostly to non-Muslims living in their countries. But no, they aren’t the masterminds of the NWO. They’re just not bright enough.
